Mackenzie Gibbs

Biography

I just graduated from Rhodes College with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and a minor in Music. Throughout undergrad, I was involved in the Rhodes SPS chapter as Outreach officer and attended the 2019 session of PhysCon in Providence, Rhode Island. I was also involved in undergraduate research, studying the spectroscopy of galaxy F0189-2524. I was president of the Rhodes Outdoor Organization as well. Next year, I will be teaching high school physics at St Andrew's Episcopal School in Jackson, Mississippi. I am very much looking forward to spreading a love and enthusiasm for physics to the younger generations!
