We’ve pretty much all been in denial. I admit it’s hard to accept that the end is near (He, Infinity War reference, hehe). The 7 weeks of this summer has been filled with fun and chill times, exciting adventures and awesome new friends.

After finding out that my project had met its match: the software Goliath. I felt like David in that scenario. This week has been wildy productive, though. My poster draft is due on Wednesday and final (newly updated) abstracts are due to NASA by next Friday.
By far the most exciting week so far. This week we had two tours, the first one Brigette took us through the Optical Society of America (OSA). We got the chance to meet with the CEO and some other important people from OSA.

Work has been pretty intense lately. I have been taking on new tasks every week and I’m always so worried I’ll let one of the smaller projects slip through the cracks.
Last weekend was amazing- Peter came to visit me again! On Friday, we stayed in because it was slightly rainy here in DC. We watched the World Cup game and then cooked dinner together (one of our favorite things to do). On Saturday, we went to the zoo!
