This week at work has been a little different since my main supervisors are away at Siegman International School on Lasers in Sweden. That means I have been mostly working on wrapping up my various projects as I see fit and reporting to the OSAF director.

This past week has probably been the busiest of the summer for me. Sunday evening I came in to OSA early to finish preparing the conference room for Innovation school and set up a table for participants to check in.

The beginning of this week has been rather mundane. At this point in the internship I’m pretty settled into my daily routines. I know what I need to get done everyday and all the projects I have are very similar to things I’ve been doing throughout the summer.

Last Saturday OSA hosted their annual “celebration of Inclusion.” OSA just happens to be positioned at the very start of the DC Pride Parade so each year they throw a party on the back patio with food and drinks and music for everyone to enjoy while the parade goes right by.
