To me, the Society of Physics Students (SPS) means a supportive and inclusive family whose purpose is to help you achieve your academic and career goals. Coming from a small primarily undergraduate institution, SPS allowed our majors to connect with the professional physics community and make meaningful connections with people in our field. This organization allowed me to attend my first conference, gain leadership/professional experience, and achieve my dreams of working at NASA as a 2021 SPS Intern. I had the privilege of co-founding our chapter, with my peer Kelli Shar, and serving on the executive board for three consecutive years. The community we have built together through SPS at UT is something I will cherish for the rest of my life, and I aim to foster in the future organizations I am a part of.

Hello everyone! We officially have one week left until the SPS 2021 Summer Internship Program comes to a close. The past week I have been putting together my PowerPoint slides for my final presentation, working on my project, and trying to make last-minute connections.

Hello everyone! Crazy to think my dream internship will be ending in less than two weeks. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity despite the challenges the pandemic posed on the GSFC and SPS.
