Physicist Michael H. Moloney Named New AIP CEO Longtime leader of space and aeronautics boards at the National Academies and veteran of Irish Foreign Service to join American Institute of Physics in March
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 31, 2018 -- The American Institute of Physics (AIP) announced the hiring of a new CEO today. Experimental physicist Michael H. Moloney was selected by an AIP executive search committee and unanimously approved by AIP’s board of directors. He will assume the role March 5, 2018.

The Texas Physics Consortium will be hosting the 2018 Joint Spring Meeting of the Texas Sections of the American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT), American Physical Society (APS), and Zone 13 of the Society of Physics Students (SPS) Thursday March 22 through Saturday March 24 on the Stephenville campus of Tarleton State University.
