Kevin also has been pushing many of his chapter’s members to be more involved in the national organization which has led them to win one of the SPS Research awards, as well as a SPS Project award. This past year his local SPS chapter also held an event called a Raspberry jam which hosted undergraduates, graduates, and faculty from 5 different Florida universities to celebrate Raspberry Pi’s and their applications in the physical sciences. Outside of SPS, Kevin has been conducting research at his home institution with a faculty member studying non-local heat transport using Green-Kubo methods.
