Rebecca is a senior student studying Mechanical Engineering at Kettering University. She has been a part of the schools Physics Club since 2017, and won the Outstanding Performance in Physics award from the Department of Physics for her coursework. At work, she designs and analyzes airbags, optimizing deployment speed, cost, and bag pressure for ultimate safety. In school, she the captain of the tinker space, eboard member of the Entrepreneurship Society, and president of the SCUBA diving club, among other organizations. She has held eboard positions and holds membership in a number of honor societies including Pi Tau Sigma, Kappa Mu Epsilon, and Rho Lambda. Rebecca is excited to be more involved with physics and get her school connected with large scale projects in conjunction with other chapters of SPS.
