Introduction

Hello,

My name is Logan Hancock and I am a junior Applied Physics major from Angelo State University in San Angelo, TX. I am originally from Brownfield, a small town in West Texas, so I am really looking forward to the big city change this summer. I will be working for APS on the "Physics to Go" and "ptec" collections.

I have been an active local SPS member for the past two years at Angelo State and was recently elected to the position of chapter president for the upcoming school year (...and definitely have big shoes to fill following our current president Ms. Meagan Saldua (AAPT Summer Intern)).  As far as hobbies go (Aside from physics homework and Optics lab reports), I like movies, music, television, a little disc golf every now and then,
and I'm pretty sure I'll be adding sight-seeing to my list at the end of this month for sure.

I'm really looking forward to the experience this summer and can't wait to meet all of you,

—Logan
