This week was much more mellow than the last, it was nice to have that change in pace. I spent most of the weekend catching up with laundry and getting ready for the week ahead. Sunday night a couple interns and I watched Tron and Mulan, there was much singing along. Tuesday night was not only Taco Tuesday but also Science Night at The Argonaut on H Street. Connor, Shauna, and I went to check it out and it was a blast! (Besides the torrential downpour we had to travel through).Connor, Shauna, and I traveling to Science Night. Yes that is a poncho that I am wearing. There are two events, the trivia questions and an engineering challenge, the trivia was various science questions and the engineering challenge was to build a boat out of two Dixie cups, a straw, a skewer, a piece of foil, and some duct tape. We held the record of most marbles in the boat before it sank for most of the night but eventually lost out to another well designed boat. The unsinkable boat! We did win best team name, “Zero Kelvin because Nothing is Cooler,” credit goes to Shauna for thinking of that one! The next day was Connor’s birthday and we celebrated her properly. She wore a crown and had a wand all day at ACP and we played her Happy Birthday on the Boomwhackers. That evening we all went to a Nationals vs Braves game, it went on for 11 innings, the Nationals won 2-1. The week ended with set up for the ACP tour with all the SPS interns on Monday, I helped Connor and Brean with setting up the items the pulled from the AIP Archives, so much interesting stuff in there!Connor's birthday and Boomwhackers!

On the work side of things, I am adding content as I get more to the app, I have a couple more interviews scheduled in the upcoming weeks. I decided to add pop-ups in the app to make it more flashy and of course broke it, I think it just a matter of something being defined in the wrong spot but I have not figured it out yet. I also consulted with Ashley from the APS art department and she will be helping me with the Physics & Engineering logo I have been dreaming about adding as a branding to the materials in this project. Overall, despite the app not being fully functional right now, the content is coming along!
