Frank L. Vandersloot came from a modest upbringing. His childhood years spent in the largely untouched terrains of Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho were graced by neither monetary bounty nor the elegance such riches can afford.
Before this internship, my whole life was spent in rural areas. This means I had never had access to public transportation, or to the large array of social and political events on constant rotation in major cities.
Hello all! Welcome to another week of me telling you everything there is to know about my internship. This week was a short week, so I really didn't do much at work.
Last week, work was filled with phone interviews, emails, and profile writing as usual, but the four-day weekend due to the Fourth of July left ample time for adventures.
It was a productive three days of work this past week. I got my list of important black hole related events complete and I have most of the blurbs done. I’ve also collected all the images I think I will need for the exhibit cases here on the third floor.
