This internship is going by so quickly. Covid-19 has changed my perception of time, such that the beginning of lock-down in late March seems a lifetime ago; while this internship seems to have only been four weeks.

Over the last couple weeks, I've gone on a unit tangent and now here's a citation tangent. Aside from the tangent part, this is a beautiful example of me using some of the policy knowledge I've gained over the course of the summer.

I have just finished up my sixth week, where I managed to snag a lab at my university to work in for the summer. I reached out to a member of my university's Environment, Health and Safety office and they managed to get me my own workspace in the basement of one of their buildings.

This was another action-packed week here at APS Careers. I feel like a lot of progress is being made and I’m really enjoying the projects I’m working on.

As far as outreach at home with Holly goes, this week was focused more on the SOCK and the virtual picnic event that took place on Thursday of this week. The SOCK is progressing steadily, but due to doctor's appointments and other events, it took a back seat this week.

Wow already reflecting on week 5, time is really flying now and the summer AAPT meeting is coming up fast! The panel I’m hosting is coming along well, I reached out to one of my mentors and they connected me with 4 of their students.
