It’s hard for me to believe that this summer program is almost halfway over—the last few weeks have gone by so fast that I can barely keep track. If the next few weeks keep up like this I will definitely be exhausted by August. This last week has been no exception to the craziness.

It’s hard to believe that three weeks of the summer have gone by already, when it still feels like I just started. I have been so unbelievably busy the last few weeks that the time has flown by.

After just 4 days of getting used to my new life for the summer, my head is still spinning.

After a long flight in, I finally got to move my things to my new apartment on Monday and with my lovely roommates started to figure out the whole grocery shopping/cooking for ourselves deal after having eaten dining hall food for four months. With all that I’ve been up to over the past few days I’ve barely even gotten to explore Woodley Park, the neighborhood around our building, but I’m excited for the chance to do that over the weekend!

After an epic 4th of July, my weekend was very laid back. Saturday, I caught up on laundry and Star Trek (TNG) episodes. Sunday, Ashley and I headed to the Pentagon City Mall for a day of shopping.
