On Secure Specifications for Large-Scale Quantum Key Distribution Implementations

This paper addresses several security issues facing large scale or distributed implementations of the BB84 quantum key distribution protocol. Firstly, two simulations address how close the tolerated error and the actual error in the hardware must be. These results are quantified in the graphs below.
