Ever had a 96-foot drop as a part of your demo show?

Volunteer for PHYSICS DAY! The next Physics Day will take place in April 2013

Each spring, thousands of high school physics students descend on Six Flags America and its gut-wrenching, free-falling, thrilling rides—and physics enthusiasts from across the Mid-Atlantic region are there to welcome them!

Consider volunteering for this fun event —details will be posted here as the 2013 event is planned. Volunteers will host information tables, run accelerometer stations near popular rides, show off physics demonstrations, and talk to students about what it’s like to study physics. And yes, volunteers will also have plenty of time to play

  • Accelerometer Stations
  • Roller Coaster Design Contest
  • Egg Drop Contest
  • Roaming Demonstrations
  • Information Tables
  • Roller Coaster Presentation

Volunteers receive a free t-shirt, lunch, and an afternoon of rides
