Big Top Physics
USA Science and Engineering Festival
Washington, DC Convention Center
Hall D, Booth #5724

Attention Washington, DC area physicists: Be part of the greatest physics show on earth!

April 24-27, 2014, the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC will turn into a huge science celebration, complete with an expo of more than 3,000 free, hands-on science activities for all age. There will be over 150 stage shows featuring music, magic, comedy and more, as well as a career pavilion and college fair for high school students and a book fair with more than 25 featured authors.

Several physics societies have joined focuses to create a physics circus for the festival expo. Big Top Physics will feature a bed of nails, stilts, expanding marshmallows, juggling, spinning plates, and much more. We will bring the demos, but we need your help to bring the science!

Sign up to volunteer for a 3-hour shift at the USA Science and Engineering Festival.

Volunteers are needed to help staff run the activities and interact with the crowd. No experience necessary, just enthusiasm!
